We are pleased to announce that Konstantin Leonenko of Tolocar will be our guest with his talk "Making Sense Through Making Things" in the 105th episode of Mekan Konuşmaları, hosted by the students of the Graduate Programs in Architecture at Istanbul Bilgi University.

The Tolocar project sends mobile makerspaces into Ukraine to support, train and equip local communities. The word “Toloka” stands for a traditional form of solidarity support in Ukraine. With that in mind, the Tolocar project uses mobile makerspaces equipped with tools, open source hardware machines and consumables to support humanitarian activities in Ukraine. Various partners work together in different projects like reconstruction & renovation, open production, knowledge transfer and innovation to strengthen the community of Ukraine.

Tolocar Operations Team Lead Konstantin Leonenko is an experienced team leader and project manager at the intersection of physical and digital with background in startup, cultural and higher education sectors. He built and launched 4 digital fabrication labs, and is a FabAcademy 2015 graduate.

The talk will be in English and is open to everyone.
